Beginning with imparting training in shorthand and typewriting, the institute embarked on a full-fledged course in secretarial training in 1972. The institute aims at giving comprehensive training to youth making them fit for employment as Administrative/Management/Executive, Secretaries, Personal Assistants, Office Assistants, etc.

IOM has an enviable record of achievements which makes it one of its kind in the country and ASIA. In 1997, the institute launched an advanced programme in Office Management that has been especially designed in view of the constantly upgrading incessant needs of the corporate world.
